I’m glad I spent my honeymoon in Glasgow, Scotland. After this romantic experience, I have to say that it is one of the best European honeymoon destinations ever. You wouldn’t want to be staying here if you were looking for a cheap honeymoon destination that’s for sure, but having said that, if you get the opportunity to stay at Inverlochy Castle, then get it.

If you can afford it, then take the King’s Suite, not only is it very large, but beautifully appointed, very conventional, but still with state-of-the-art touches such as plasma television and internet access. The bath is also big, and the towels beautifully soft, and the walk-in shower is something that both of us really enjoyed.

We didn’t go there for the room, but all the other touches from a hotel like this. It is one of the most beautifully repaired Scottish castles, and arriving in the rain, an umbrella appeared, our luggage disappeared, and our car was parked. Then walking into chocolates and champagne in our suite was another nice touch

This was pampering, and it continued throughout our stay, from breakfast in our suite, where we looked out over Ben Nevis from one window, and the loch from the other. The food was to die for, and all our meals were quite superb.

It is fair to say that you need to be fond of a bit of hill walking, photography, just relishing the scenery, because there isn’t a great deal amusement around the area, but then we were on our honeymoon!!!

What we liked themost was how we were treated by the hotel staff. They were completely respectful to our privacy.

Till recently, hair loss and wigs were not forever my personal obsession. Art was the thing that occupied my mind. That was true until two years ago when I lost my hair during chemotherapy. I said that I wouldn’t allow for the outcome of appearing on TV as a shiny-headed Lex Luther of this world.

I imagined that I was all alone, lacking my hair. It became clear that it was out of my hands to reclaim great fashion and the hair to match. Buddy, was I foolish. Previous to receiving my real human hair wig, I went through a barrage of hot fake hair pieces that didn’t suit my complexion. My partner Gordon found me respectable, medical wig websites that carried authentic wigs that would look great.

Well I jumped into the car and took a good look at their wigs. I discovered an inventory of glorious, beautiful wigs. Their tailored lace front wigs made me so happy!

A case of Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS) has cost General Kinematics Ltd. around £10,000, as it entered into an out-of-court settlement with one of its employees, Keith Rowley.

Mr. Rowley was working as a fitter with the company when he suffered the disease, which occurs due to working with hand-operated vibrating equipment. The disease, also known as Vibration White Finger, causes him constant and intolerable pain in his hands. The pain intensifies in winters and he has to wear gloves to keep his hands warm.

Mr. Rowley has suffered permanent damage leaving him disabled in many ways and therefore, his union, the GMB, instructed legal firm, Thompsons Solicitors, to sue the company. The Control of Vibration at Work Regulations 2005 obligates the employers to assess the risk involved in using these tools and the damage that can be caused to the workers. General Kinematics Ltd. did not accept the responsibility for causing the disease or for its failure to prevent the disease, but has paid the compensation to avoid the law suit.

Employers need to provide appropriate training for their employees to reduce both lost time through work related injuries and/or potential employer’s liability claims. Manual handling training, available from the experts at Workplace Law, enables your organisation to be compliant with the requirement to train persons involved in manual handling activities.

Legal Administrator at the GMB, Andrea Austin, commented that Vibration White Finger is very widespread and exists in many countries. Many of the union’s members have suffered from it, which has left them unable to lead normal professional or personal lives.

The advocates of the GMB said that the workers have accepted HAVS as an inevitable part of their profession, but the fact remains that it is still a serious problem, for which they must be given compensation because it disables them for life.
