Day Dress – Celebrate You Day-Time

July 5th, 2010, 1:25 am

The term ‘day dress’ can be given to any dress for the ladies that is worn only in the daytime. This means that everything that’s worn with the day dress is not worn in the evening or night time. While it can get pretty confusing with all of these different terms bobbing around, essentially the dress you wear during the day will be different to the one you’ll change into for an evening out.
All accessories and further clothing worn throughout the day will be toned down considerably to compensate for the increase in lighting, the weather and the activities carried out. The dress itself is more likely to be lighter and brighter in color and of an informal type style. Jewelry does not have to be as dramatic or bling as it will be better to see.
Handbags or clutches can be lighter in color or with more natural tones and shoes can be more of an off-the-cuff type and style. Though many outfits can be worn both night and day, it is usually preferable to make a change in garments to match the upcoming events of the evening.
