T-Mobile has shifted its Christmas focus from laptops to mobile broadband, realizing the fact that people do not want laptops as gifts because they already have them. Thus, the company has stopped offering subsidised laptop deals even though it was well-received by people.

Recently a T-Mobile spokesperson confirmed this to Broadband Genie, stating that it is encouraging people to present mobile broadband to their loved ones this Christmas.

The broadband package that it is offering as Christmas gift requires people to buy a broadband dongle of £19.95 and get a top up of £2, which will give them one month of free internet. Further, if one buys the package of £44.03, he can get unlimited internet browsing for next three months. The charges for one year connection are £146.80, and it gives you unlimited browsing for that duration.

T-Mobile believes that these packages can be great gifts, especially for those people who find it is tough to select a gift.

However, this does not mean that the great laptop deals offered by T-Mobile have been withdrawn. While the company is not releasing any further stock of laptops within its direct channels, one can still get this offer through other sources that have them in stock.
